Legal
Privacy Policy
Foxtrot Winery (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information is handled when you use foxtrotwines.com, and how to reach us about it.
What we collect
Our website is informational — you can browse it without creating an account, and we don’t ask you for personal information to read it. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and performance.
Newsletter
If you sign up for our newsletter, your email address is collected and stored by our email service provider (Mailchimp) and used only to send you Foxtrot news and offers. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately.
Purchases and reservations
Wine purchases are handled by our online shop, operated on the Cellar platform, which collects the information needed to process your order (name, contact details, shipping address, and payment, which is processed by its payment provider — we never see your full card number). Tasting reservations are booked through Calendly, which collects your name, email, and booking details. Each of these services handles your information under its own privacy policy.
Cookies
We don’t set tracking or advertising cookies. Third-party services linked from our site (the shop, booking, and newsletter pages) may set their own cookies when you use them.
Sharing
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we only share it with the service providers named above, as needed to serve you.
Age
Our products are intended for adults of legal drinking age (19+ in British Columbia). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us at info@foxtrotwines.com or call 250.496.3900 and we’ll take care of it.
Changes
If we update this policy, the new version will be posted on this page.
